He feels the same way as Tirzah and Ratchet loss they're parents. Jairex asked Tirzah where's her parents and she explained what happened to her parents that they got killed by Mystere. Jairex checked Tirzah and Ratchet to make sure they're ok and he realised that Tirzah and Ratchet are adopted siblings. Jairex saved Tirzah and Ratchet from the bear in the forest. He also finds more friends, Spyro, Twilight Sparkle and the other heroes. He meets Ratchet's friend Clank, Sprocket, who's having a baby, and Samus, who Jairex falls in love with. They introduce Jairex to their friends and family on Planet Veldin.
Soon, he finds Ratchet and Tirzah about to get mauled by a bear, He tends to save them from it and makes friends with Tirzah and Ratchet. In his adulthood, he get his shapeshifting powers by the spirits of his parents. When Jairex was a little dinosaur, his parents were slaughtered by Dark Dracoclaw, he surives and thrives his entire life. Jairex is tough, strong and has anger issues. Though he loves his friend Samus, he worries that he'll be her husband. Jairex is very courageous and warm-hearted, He likes his friends and has his love for Samus. In his later appearance, he is bigger, has a narrow muzzle, smaller eyes, and stands like an actual dinosaur. In his first appearance, he was skinnier, had a dull, square-like muzzle, larger eyes and stood upright. He is a theropod dinosaur that can shape-shift into different dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and other prehistoric creatures. He wears a blue outfit with orange short sleeves, a brown belt and strap, and purple shorts and wears dark blue ankle and wrist bands. Jairex is a large, shape-shfting, anthropomorphic dinosaur with red scales, green stripes and yellow spikes.
